Reporting to the Corporate Controller, the Director– Corporate FPA will be responsible to support CFO and Corporate Controller with the reporting and analysis required by the board of Directors. The Director will lead the FPA Corpo function at Recochem by implementing best industry practices and processes.

Responsibilities:

Reporting to the Corporate Controller, the Director– Corporate FPA will be responsible to support CFO and Corporate Controller with the reporting and analysis required by the board of Directors. The Director will lead the FPA Corpo function at Recochem by implementing best industry practices and processes.

  • Implement, enhance, and lead the monthly business review process in collaboration with the different members of the finance team with the objective of preparing monthly consolidated decks dedicated to the CFO, the CEO and the board of directors.
  • Develop key performance indicators to monitor the financial performance of Recochem and provide recommendations to Senior Management and Board of Directors.
  • Lead the annual budget process with all business units and consolidate all information received to prepare the consolidated budget (Income Statement, Balance Sheet and Cash Flow)
  • Support and update the company’s long-term strategic plan, including identifying growth opportunities and assessing potential risks and benefits.
  • Lead development and maintenance of budgeting and forecasting software.
  • Provide various ad-hoc analysis as required by the management and Board of Directors.
  • Participate and lead certain aspects of the implementation project of PowerBI and Microsoft D365 across the organization.
  • Performs necessary financial analysis and valuation models in support of company acquisition activities including scenario modeling, financial due diligence analysis and integration plans.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Commerce degree with a major in Finance or Accounting,
  • CFA or CPA designation is an asset
  • 7-10 years of experience in financial analysis
  • 3- 5 years of experience in leading and managing people
  • Able to manage tight deadlines and prioritize in a changing environment.
  • Advance communication skills, with advance skills with PowerPoint or other presentation tool
  • Strong financial modeling and analysis skills including experience with budgeting, forecasting and financial reporting.
  • Strong technical, analytical and systems skills; advance knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Power BI
  • Strong work ethic, integrity and positive team spirit
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Bilingual, English and French
