Starting salary:  $55,000 per annum

The big picture:

As Maintenance Parts and Materials Representative within our Maintenance team, you will be responsible for procurement of aircraft parts and materials from company approved vendors with focus on cost, quality, timely delivery and building sustainable relationship with vendors. 

As part of Maintenance team while performing functional role of Maintenance Parts and Material Representative, you would be enthusiastically demonstrating AirSprint’s corporate value of service in everything you do. Through diligent approach, excellent organizational, time management and multi-tasking skills you will ensure inventory levels are maintained while optimizing cost and adhering to procedures and company policies.

In this role you will:

  • Manage procurement of parts and materials to support the maintenance department from company approved vendors.
  • Quote parts and materials with multiple vendors to ensure the best priced is received while taking into consideration the demand of each part or material.
  • Manage the current inventory, ensuring required inventory levels are maintained and the inventory is secure, organized, accurately reflected in the inventory management system, and continues to meet Transport Canada regulations and company policies.
  • Ensure all parts and materials received conform to Transport Canada regulations, the Company MPM, MCM, TCCA AC 571-024 and are accompanied with the correct paperwork and certification.
  • Manage warranty claims and core returns.
  • Invoice management and approvals.
  • Maintain the department’s Purchase Order system.
  • Manage shipping and receiving. This includes potentially driving to and from delivery service locations like FedEx and Purolator.

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • At least one year of related experience in administration or supply chain management/logistics.
  • A valid class 5 driver’s license, with no suspensions and minimal infractions.
  • The ability to lift a minimum of 45 lbs. 
  • Proficiency using MS Office (Word, Excel and Outlook)

 Bonus points if you have:

  • Previous aviation industry experience.
