Sr. HPE Aruba Solutions Architect (remote / CA)

Position Description

This exciting opportunity is full-time and permanent with Converge Technology Solutions within our Western Region. The Solutions Architect will work hand-in-hand with our clients while directly supporting the sales team. Your ability to clearly articulate network security solutions and services to our existing client base and prospects is essential. Your involvement in client opportunities will start with the initial client meeting and continue through the design phases of the solution. You must be a self-starter, require minimal supervision and possess strong technical and design knowledge of network and security technology / controls. This position requires excellent communications skills as well as the ability to work as part of a team. Converge is experiencing explosive growth and we can't wait for you to join our team!

• Ability to deliver detailed statements of work (SOW) and proposals with a high-level project plan
• Ability to deliver accurate Bills of Materials
• Ability to communicate with the technical services delivery team to convey client end-goals
• Strong organizational skills to effectively manage your own time, calendar and follow-ups
• Be consultative with a trusted advisor approach

Experience and qualifications we are seeking

• 5+ years’ of networking & security experience with knowledge of associated best practices and technology
• 3+ years of pre-sales, client facing experience OR equivalent experience as a post-sales consulting engineer with the desire to enter pre-sales profession
• Aruba product experience is required
• Aruba ClearPass experience is highly desired
• Aruba certifications are a plus
• Depth and expertise with Network Access Control
• Must be able to quickly learn several products across a wide range of network and security technologies
• Working knowledge of network and security products; preferred solutions include the following: HPE Aruba, Palo Alto Networks, Juniper
• Network areas of focus include but are not limited to, NAC, LAN/WAN design / architecture, SD-WAN, segmentation and wireless
• Security areas of focus include but are not limited to, perimeter security, endpoint protection, EDR, MFA, web and DNS security, email protection, etc

Work Environment

• Remote within California
• Travel for client meetings, 10% - 20%
