|About the role

 

Reporting to the Manager, IT Service Management Product & Process Services, the Senior Service Management Process Specialist is responsible for the design, deployment, and performance of a defined set of Service Management processes (Incident, Problem, Change, Asset, and Configuration)  that are implemented to support the portfolio of Service Management on both our corporate and payment services deployed across Payments Canada. The Senior Service Management Process Specialist will also assist with the development, implementation and release of the new ITIL processes.

 

This is a temporary position for a 16 Month Term. 

 

|What you’ll do

 

Responsibilities of Senior Service Management Process Specialist include: 

  • Developing and maintaining the ITIL process roadmap and monitoring the ITIL framework and other industry standards;  
  • Focusing on the maturity of processes and the clear definition of critical success factors and related key performance indicators for each process;
  • Maintaining ongoing relationships with key stakeholders across the organization to better understand their needs and align the delivery of ITIL process services.   

 

|Minimum Qualifications

  • Post-secondary degree or diploma in business and/or computer science related fields;
  • Minimum of five (5) years of experience in a service management function, including ITIL processes;
  • Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) certification;
  • Experience in Lean Methodologies;
  • Understanding of ITIL v4 foundations;
  • Government of Canada Reliability clearance or eligibility to obtain.

 

|Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of ServiceNow and other ITSM tools are considered an asset; 
  • Experience with Business Process Management (BPM) is considered an asset;

| Salary Range

  • Based on qualifications and experience: $93,637  and $117,046.
