We are currently seeking a Retail Operations Coordinator who will seek inspiration from our roots, can commit to achieving results the right way and loves to think big to join us on our journey. This position provides administrative support for the retail stores by managing ongoing communication. In addition, this position builds and analyzes reporting to support stores and Retail Operations Senior Management.

 

The Retail Operations Coordinator for Roots will be responsible for the following: 

  • Daily management of internal department email inbox and calendars, and ensure timely response to any reported issues or questions from retail stores regarding operations, supplies, etc;
  • Retail portal content management inclusive of policies and procedures, document updates, reporting, and communication.
  • Draft memos, prepare presentations, agendas, org charts, contact lists, store directory store visit reports as necessary;
  • Support ongoing communication to stores regarding retail operations updates, promotions, contest implementations, and business information.
  • Retail Ecommerce: Maintain and adjust store hours for VOIP and Roots.com, Google Reviews, Maintain Online Employee Discount records.
  • Develop and maintain professional relationships with corporate personnel and field teams to best understand organizational needs.
  • Assist the retail business manager with any administrative tasks as required.

Top candidates for the Retail Operations Coordinator role will have the following: 

  • Post-Secondary degree or certificate in business or retail management
  • 2-3 years experience in store operations
  • Superior organizational, analytical, and project management skills
  • Interest and skills in creative design and video editing
  • Must have extensive with MS Office including Excel (Vlookup), Word and PowerPoint
  • Experience with NewStore, Sales Force, Store Force, Relate, Power of BI, Frontier, Dayforce, MA (Merchandising Analytics), and Apple Products is an asset, but not required.
  • Strong sense of teamwork and multi-tasking
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to think creatively, and manage time effectively
  • Passion for brand, fashion industry and customer experience
