Science North is currently recruiting Science Demonstrators for the Outreach program!

 

The Science Demonstrator will deliver and evaluate high-energy science shows and programs at venues including, festivals, libraries, and special events (including First Nations) across Northern Ontario. This position will begin in May and run through to early September at a payrate of $16.55/hour.

 

The successful candidate will present science concepts to a variety of audiences and involve them in hands-on experiences and programs. Successful candidates will have experience in program delivery and will be science-focused.  This position requires strong organizational and interpersonal skills, a keen interest in science, willingness, and ability to travel extensively as well as the ability to work in a fast-paced environment managing multiple priorities.

 

The successful applicant must have held a valid, full G-classification driver’s license for a minimum of 3 years and will be required to provide proof of a 3-year safe driving record along with a current (less than 3 months) criminal background check.
