Professional AZ Truck Driver - OTR

Woodcock Transportation Group is a small family owned and operated trucking business located in Sebringville, ON.  We are growing and require 4 AZ Professional Drivers who are interested in working locally and over the road.   We run late model Volvo's that are equipped with safety mitigation devices, forward facing dash cameras, satellite XM radio, electronic logs, and a roomy driver friendly sleeper berth.    Our Mission is "On-Time transportation service for our customers.  We will achieve this with dedicated people, quality equipment, and facilities."  We strive to be Miles Ahead and Minutes Away.

For those entering the transportation industry, we develop a personalized training program that focuses on the skills you need to be a successful Professional AZ Driver.  Our goal is to ensure you have a work / life balance.  This position is a great opportunity to hone your customer service skills; be financially and personally rewarded for your hard work (12 hr days – Mon-Fri) while spending weekends with friends and family, and improve your driving skills by maneuvering through tight spaces.

Key Responsibilities:

·         Safe operation of tractor; trailer; and potentially a Moffett

·         Ensure all loads are properly secured

·         Verify that all products are on the trailer prior to departure

·         Deliver to customer locations across Ontario

·         Focus on customer service

·         Assist customer with on and off-loading products as required

·         Efficient use of time
